No. Cry it out doesn't work with toddlers, which is a big part of why I like toddler sleep work so much. The protocol I use is designed to have you in the room with your child as they work through their resistance and learn to sleep well. Resistance can look many ways, and sometimes it involves some tears, but I promise you the crying will be minimal and short-lived.
The results you attain will be largely dependant on how consistent you are and how well you adhere to the plan I give you. All children are unique, but the families I work with typically see improvement within a few nights. Within three weeks you can expect that things will be significantly better if not fully improved.
Ultimately we want to have a few weeks to work together when there are no other transitions or interruptions going on. If you are moving, going on vacation, or have a major change occurring like a parent returning to work or child starting daycare, this is not the time to begin sleep work. I know life is busy, but try to find a few weeks where you can be at home as much as possible to establish strong sleep foundations and routine.
Yes, absolutely! I work with all of my clients through online platforms and through the phone. Your experience will be exactly the same whether you live next door or in a different country from me.
